Recently, the national standard "Energy Efficiency Limits and Grades for LED Luminaires for Road and Tunnel Lighting" (GB 37478-2025) was officially released with the approval of the State Administration for Market Regulation and the National Standardization Administration. The implementation of this standard marks a new stage in the standardization of energy efficiency in the field of road and tunnel lighting in China, providing key technical support for the industry's low-carbon transformation.

With the popularization of LED technology, the energy efficiency of road tunnel lighting is crucial for national energy conservation and emission reduction. The new national standard specifies for the first time the energy efficiency limit values, grade classification, and full scenario testing methods for LED road tunnel lamps.
